Hubei University of Arts and Science (HBUAS) 湖北文理学院, China was founded in 1905 and approved by the State Ministry of Education, it’s a national class government comprehensive university, located in Xiangyang City, a national historical and cultural city (home town of Zhuge Liang) and the second largest city of Hubei Province.

Hundreds of years ago, Longzhong Mountain was where the embodiment of Chinese wisdom—Premier Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion in his youth. Now, with 50 years of history, Xiangfan University is running here facing a turning point of development of the new century.

Hubei University of Arts & Science History:

The Hubei University of Arts and Science, with a history spanning more than 110 years, initially began as Xiangyang Normal College, which was founded in 1905. In 1998, Xiangyang Normal College (founded in 1905), Xiangfan Vocational College (founded in 1983), and Xiangfan Institute of Education (founded in 1984) subsequently merged to form Xiangfan University.

In the year 2000, Hubei College of Arts and Science merged with Xiangfan University. In 2011 Xiangfan University was renamed Hubei University of Arts and Science.

The university insists on running the school in an open manner, enhancing communication and cooperation with the outside, and setting up a favorable cooperating relationship with the related institutions of different countries:

Currently, the university actively maintains international cooperation with over 20 universities from more than 10 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Russia, Norway, and Singapore. Through these partnerships, the university fosters academic exchange and collaboration on a global scale.

The university is adjacent to the district of ancient Longzhong:” A Country-level Scenic Spot”. The tranquil atmosphere and beautiful scenery make it an ideal place for students to study. In the former days, Premier Zhuge Liang lived here in seclusion for ten years.

Medical School of Hubei University of Arts & Science (HUAS)

The Medical College building has a total construction area of 19000 square meters. The college is equipped with a basic medicine teaching laboratory, clinical and nursing skill training center, and scientific research experiment platform. The college has a staff of 121 people. It is recognized by WHO and IMED.
