PM&DC Announces MDCAT-2024 for MBBS/BDS Admissions
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) is pleased to announce that the MDCAT-2024 Examination will be conducted nationally and internationally on 22nd September 2024 (Sunday). The exam will be organized by Admitting Universities across all provinces, including Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan. The paper-based exam will be conducted simultaneously at all designated centers. Below are the details of the universities and their respective venues:

- University of Health Sciences, Lahore (Punjab)
- Khyber Medical University (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)

MDCAT – 2024 Exam
Date: Sunday, 22nd September 2024 (at 10:00 AM PST)
The test will be conducted simultaneously at all Local Exam Centres at 10:00 AM PST. The time for International Centres will be indicated on the admit card.

Note:
- A candidate’s MDCAT result shall be valid for three years from the date of the exam.
- If a person retakes the MDCAT exam during this period, the highest attained result may be used to apply to a medical or dental college.

The candidates are directed to choose one city/station mentioned above as per their preference for appearance in the Entry Exam. The candidates are advised for their own convenience to choose the City/Station nearest to their residence. City/Station once selected cannot be changed.

The MDCAT exam will be a multiple-choice, paper-based exam conducted in the English language. It will consist of 200 MCQs according to the following weightage:

MDCAT Registration Fee 2024
The registration fee for MDCAT 2024 is 8000 PKR. For late registration, the fee increases to 12000 PKR. For international centers, the registration fee is 40000 PKR, and the late registration fee is 50000 PKR.
